One Year!

My good friend Becki took Hudson's 1 year pictures for me and yes I am just getting around to posting them....it's the story of my life right now what can I say. Anyhow, I think they turned out super cute considering the fact that this kid was NOT in a cooperative mood AT ALL!!!! He was tired and fussy and I think it took the energy out of all of us to get him to smile, and to add to it, bless Becki's heart she was 9 months pregnant! She actually had her baby girl like 3 days later! I can't believe I have a 1 year old, well actually now he is a 15 1/2 month old!
He is such a good kid, he has such a funny personality and we love how he evolves everyday with new words, skills, and personality traits. Life is good with this little guy by our sides!
If any of you that live in the Valley need pictures taken, here is Becki's site, check it out! http://www.beckicrosby.blogspot.com

Evidence of the whole not cooperating thing

For some reason Spongebob is a cartoon that catches Hudson's attention. I am sure most of you are familiar with it. Hudson now has 4 teeth up top, but before that he only had two and they were gaped like they are in this picture. So Andy always said he looks like Spongebob with his gap teeth!

This picture cracks me up, he always makes this face when he's trying to protest something.

Dad's glasses

Speed Crawler

Marinara Handprint

We love this kid...he always knows how to make us laugh, and make a royal mess! He will NOT let anyone feed him! I don't care if it's soup, he has to hold the fork or spoon and feed himself. We gave up a long time ago trying to get him to let us feed him the messy food, so we just let him be the big boy that he feels he is and clean up the mess afterwards.
Here we are eating ravioli with marinara sauce

notice the perfectly formed hand print on the side of his face.

We only give him a few at a time to help "Limit" the mess
He's such a cute mess though!

Hudson is walking.....like an old man!

This is the last post of old pictures....I am finally caught up!
While in Washinton one of our elderly neighbors had a walker. Whenever we would go over there he would always start playing with it and pushing it around. She had an extra one, so she let us borrow it for a while cause he would start crying everytime we had to leave and he couldn't play with it anymore. Thanks Millie!
I do have to make a note that as of March 4, 2009 Hudson is finally taking steps on his own! He has been so LAZY about walking! He is still really wobbly, and only takes about 6-7 steps at once, but it's so exciting! We are working at getting it on camera. Whenever we pull out the camera he sits down...We need to become very very sneaky!

So fun! He would pull himself up on it.

Are you sure I can't eat the camera?

Having fun with Dad

Chillin out max and relaxin all cool

(Please tell me I'm not the only one who know this theme song!)

He's not having any fun is he?

He LOVES to be thrown in the air!

Here is another sideways video for your viewing pleasure!

Matty Boy is home safe and sound!

So this also is a bit overdue, but my baby brother Matthew is finally home! He finally finished his 15 months in Iraq serving our country. We are so happy to have him home, and that he made it home safely! I don't know how those men and women serving our country do it, but I am sure thankful they do! They have a job I am not envious of, and they do it proudly and willingly. It's amazing that there are men and women who are willing to lay down their lives for our country, how grateful I am to all of them! How blessed we are to be Americans!
I also want to say CONGRATULATIONS to my brother and his fiance Jessica! That also is a bit overdue, but we are excited nonetheless to have her join our family!
Matthew, thank you for your service and sacrifice. We love you, and are so proud of you, and who you have become!
Love, Andy, Naomi, and Hudson.

Winter Wear

I am embarrassed for him every time I look at these pictures. I am sure he will kill us when he's older, but dang I get a good laugh out of them! Up in Washington it snowed like 4 different times. Being from Arizona we don't own a snow suit for him. So we kind of threw something together so we could at least take him out in the cold. There wasn't actually snow on the ground when he went outside in this, it was just really cold, and for some reason we were outside doing something and wanted to take him out with us....so we geared him up!

This picture doesn't look so bad

Now this one you get how ridiculous he looked! He was such a rolie polie he kept falling over! Notice the 80's style leg warmers!

Mom get me out of this thing!

Who could resist this face!

Precious

um....why am I outside....in public, in this getup?!!

Chasing after the dog

And we documented the whole thing on video for your viewing pleasure...enjoy!
