Hudson's 1st Birthday Invitation

We will be up in Washington for the holidays, so we will be having Hudson's first birthday there. I sent out invitations today so people should be receiving them shortly. If I forgot to send anyone and invitation and you are in town please stop by or give me a call we would love to see you!
I made this on Photoshop yesterday....but I painted out a few things to put it on the blog....I don't think everyone needs my cell phone number, or my parent's address.
I was really proud of myself, I think it turned out super cute.

We've Moved!

That's right, over Thanksgiving weekend officially sold, and moved out of our house in Arizona. We put our house up a few months ago hoping to sell it before Andy graduates in May. Luckily, we were able to sell it, and now when Andy graduates, we can get the heck out of dodge! (Can you tell I love Arizona?) We're not sure where we will be moving to just yet, as he is still keeping options open....applying for grad school, and also applying for a few jobs that we really hope work out.
Anyhow, we are now living in ASU family housing, which is awesome, and not so awesome at the same time. It's old military housing, so they are actually bigger than our old house, and only families can live there so it's nice, and they are EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE, but they are a little....shall we say...OLD!...I keep telling Andy we are living in the projects...... but it's only for 5 months, so it's not that bad.....just a little different coming from a house, and I'm not going to complain because it was such a blessing that we were able to sell our house that fast!
So....the point of this post is to let you all know we have moved, and if you need our new address just text me or email me at naomi.shuldberg@yahoo.com and I will give you our new address.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
Thanks to all the family that came to help us move! Some even came from Utah!!...we couldn't have done it without you!

Autumn Leaves

My parents have two large maple trees that cover the front yard in leaves every Fall. I always remember as a kid "Helping" my Dad rake leaves, just to jump in the piles, and toss the leaves all over the yard again. Since only palm trees exist in Arizona, I really wanted some pictures of Hudson with the beautiful Autumn leaves that bring back so many memories of my childhood.
My Dad and I held the photo shoot in our front yard, and took over a hundred pictures, and these are just a few of the best shots. I was telling my Dad I am sure glad I am not a child photographer....constantly trying to get this kid to laugh or smile, taking a hundred shots, and only a few of them are GREAT....too much work for me! Anyhow, I am really happy with how they turned out, and he just looks so suave in his argyle sweater and old man flat cap!

He kept trying to take his hat off and the only way to make him keep it on was to distract him, so I just kept throwing leaves in the air....he loved it!

Trying to work with Photoshop again

Here he is trying to take that hat off again.....I was throwing leave up in the air again so he would stop trying to take it off.....as you can tell he is looking up at them....about two seconds later he fell over.

Hudson and Lucy sitting in a tree.....

When I am in Washington you can usually find me with my best friend from high school Tara. She has two cute girls...Lucy who is 22 months, and Chloe who is 3.5 months. When Hudson and Lucy first met, they weren't too interested in each other mostly cause Hudson was too little to play with. However, now that he is mobile, Lucy seems to be warming up to him. She calls him "Uh-don" and is very sweet to him. They are so funny together, so I wanted to put some pictures of them up.

I am trying to get Lucy to smile, but she just folded her arms and shot me this stare!

So much attitude....just like her mother! Work it girl!

Here is Lucy checking in on Hudson who is eating some of her chicken. He kept throwing his sippy cup and she kept picking it up for him....Thanks Lucy!

Big girl!

I promise I can explain the pink heart pajamas! Hudson and I were over late one night, and Tara and I were just going to get up and go shopping in the morning anyway, so we just decided to stay the night.....we had everything but pajamas with us, so lucky Hudson got to borrow some from Lucy. I think he rocked them pretty good...he is confident in his manhood....but I tell you it was so weird to look at him in those, I had to do a double take sometimes.

Having his bottle before bed

Lucy....who had Hudson's binky in her mouth! She was trying to hold him for us so we could take a picture of the two of them

Playing in the kitchen

K-I-S-S-I-N-G
They kept crawling around the house kind of chasing each other....Lucy was nice and crawled since Hudson can't walk yet. She kept crawling up to him and would give him a kiss....so sweet!

Real Men Sparkle!!

I am feeling a little sorry for it today because I am so tired, but last night was totally worth it! Two of my best friends from high school, Tara and Michelle and I attended the 12:01 am showing of Twilight. One of my friends from Arizona Becki, made us these awesome shirts to wear! I loved them cause they were totally original...Thanks Becki!
Now I am normally not one to attend a 12:01 am movie, no matter how excited I am to see it, but we thought it would be fun to join the tons of teens and makes fools of ourselves over Edward! We made a night of it by going to Applebee's first....then heading over to the theater about 1.5 hours early thinking there would be a huge line, we even bought our tickets early. So we show up, and there is not even a line! So we all sat in Michelle's car for an hour or so chatting it up, taking pictures, and killing time.
We finally get into the theatre, and they have it playing on two screens....luckily we all got seats next to each other, and got to sit in the back. We were a little worried there would be lots of people screaming, and clapping and doing all the dumb annoying stuff people tend to do in movies like this, but the crowd was really good, and I didn't get annoyed once!
The movie was O.K for me. The actor they got to play Edward I thought was a good choice, but overall, the book is much better, which is usually the case. Anyhow, it was so much fun to go out with the girls without all our kids for a change! We all had a blast......and Michelle even got a nap in at the movie.....now she's gonna have to see it again cause she missed 3/4 of it!
Thanks girlie's for a great night....it's been real! Sweet dreams about Edward!
