Successful Transition!!

We decided that before the new baby came we would officially move Hudson into a big boy bed. If you remember we tried this once before, but we didn't have the railings on the sides so he kept rolling out of the bed. This time we actually got a twin bed, and railings, and I think we ended up with a successful transition this time!

This is his last nap in his crib...I think he looks ready to move into a big bed....hence the whole trying to escape thing!

First night in his big boy bed! He decided he wanted to read a book first.

Overall it went really well. This first night he cried for about 20 minutes when we laid him down. I think he must have been a little scared being in a new bed. But after he fell asleep he was out for the rest of the night. The next day, he got out of bed once during his nap time, but I went in and put him back down, and after that he hasn't tried to get out once. He's really good and still calls for us in the morning and we'll go in and get him. I figured he would get up and start playing with toys, but he just waits for us every morning.

He is such a good boy, and he's getting so big, but he still looks so small in that bed!
